Our PlasticBusters team paid a visit this Sunday to “The Nook”, along the famous Isle of Man TT race course. We were supported by a team of 14 avid volunteers, who despite the challenging wind and rain worked tirelessly to clean up the area.

In just a bit over an hour, our volunteers managed to collect 17 full bags of plastic, cans, glass, and other non-recyclable waste weighting in total circa 150 pounds!.

With this we have now carried out 20 group clean-up activities in the Isle of Man to preserve the ecosystems of this unique UNESCO Biosphere nation, where we have so far collected over 2,700 pounds of litter. And this is only counting our organised group activities, as many of our PlasticBusters continue working hard on their own!

Thanks so much to all volunteers!

Note: All materials collected in our activities are properly separated and taken to the nearby amenity site for disposal/recycling.
